Dashboards
Create multiple, distinct status dashboards within one StatusDashboard account, each with its own unique url, design, security, services, subscriptions, integrations and notification settings. For example, create production/development or public/internal.
Incident Events
Create, track and communicate with your users about unexpected incident events affecting critical services. Transparently communicate through each step of the process from investigation through resolution.
Maintenance
Proactively communicate with your users ahead of time about scheduled maintenance events and keep them updated throughout the maintenance execution process, from planning through completion.
Subscriptions
Allow customers, users and stakeholders to manage their own event notification subscriptions so that they receive only the event notifications that are important to them.
Event Templates
Create standard templates with predefined services and language, for specific event types, which can be used as the starting point when creating incident or scheduled maintenance events.
Fault Tolerance
StatusDashboard utilizes the power and scalability of the public cloud and is fully fault tolerant. You can be sure that when your systems are down, ours are up.
Whitelabel
Whitelabel your status dashboards by removing our StatusDashboard branding, adding your company logo, and creating a custom HTML header and footer.
Customization
Inject custom CSS and JavaScript into status dashboard pages for additional control of the site's look/feel.
Flexible Design
The StatusDashboard administration portal and customer dashboard interfaces are all responsive and render properly on any device: mobile, tablet or desktop.
Notifications
When unexpected issues or scheduled maintenance events impact critical services, reach your customers wherever they are via our intuitive notification process. We support universal communication channels like email and SMS as well as a number of third party integrations.
Integrations
Sent event notifications to Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat and Twitter via our prebuilt integrations. If you're utilizing solutions like ServiceNow or PagerDuty, seamlessly connect them to StatusDashboard to manage system status and notifications to customers and stakeholders.
Security
StatusDashboard has a number of security features including granular, role-based access for your administrative users, restricted (private) dashboards, SSL and single sign-on integration with your SAML2 compliant IdP.
Admin API
Programmatically and securely manage all of the major functions of StatusDashboard including event creation, subscription management and notifications via the Administrative API.
Dashboard API
Allow your customers to build their own integrations by consuming the status dashboard API, available for each status dashboard. Through this API, the status of all services is provided in simple JSON format.
Digital Signs
Create custom digital signs designed to display status information on large, static displays in NOC rooms, command centers or lobbies.
Access Control
Assign specific responsibilities (e.g. event management) to specific team members to align StatusDashboard to your organization's policies. Additionally, with service based permissions, individual team members can be given access only to specific status dashboards within your environment.
Event Tags
Create descriptive categories of information that can be optionally included with events, on a per event basis. For example, create your own custom severity levels for events, and include the proper one when creating or updating events.
Notification Tags
Tag specific email and SMS subscribers with descriptors to restrict event notifications to specific groups, on a per event basis. For example, for a specific event, send event notifications to only the C-Suite employees.
Widgets
Embed a status dashboard widget directly into an existing page in your organization to display status information to your customers and stakeholders. For example, embed the StatusDashboard widget on your public website or an internal wiki.
Post Mortems
Create and publish post mortem analyses for certain events. Post mortems allow you to provide your customers and stakeholders with a detailed analysis of incidents, and include corrective action plans to prevent future occurrences.
Webhooks (in)
Send secure inbound webhooks to StatusDashboard from your existing monitoring or CMDB systems to automatically update your statusdashboard, and trigger notifications to subscribed customers.
Webhooks (out)
When events are created or updated in StatusDashboard, automatically send secure outbound webhooks to your existing third party systems to perform other actions consistent with your existing organizational processes.
Uptime Reporting
Easily run uptime reports for your critical services over any span of time. If you are responsible for tracking SLA's, we do the work for you.
Content Modules
Enable content modules on a status dashboard to add additional functionality and information like event search, open/resolved events and upcoming scheduled maintenance.
